 In its native market of China, Xiaomi has previously teased the release of a new Redmi series laptop. Today, the firm has formally introduced the Redmi G Pro Gaming Laptop Ryzen Edition.



The recently unveiled Redmi G Pro laptop has impressive performance and is intended specifically for gamers, as the name suggests. The cost of the item is 7,599 yuan, or approximately $1,092.

Regarding the technical details, the device has a 16-inch LCD panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Additionally, it supports the full sRGB colour gamut, has a 500 nit brightness, a 10 bit colour depth, is HDR 400 certified, and is dimmable.


The laptop's internal hardware consists of an AMD Ryzen R7-6800H processor and an RTX 3060 6G 130W graphics chip. The system has 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD and 16GB dual-channel DDR5-4800 RAM for memory.


Four heat pipes and two 12V fans are also included to ensure that the temperature is maintained even under severe load. There are four USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, three USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-C port with 100W PD support, and aMini DP 1.4 port, HDMI 2.0 port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone hack along with a network port and a DC power port.

The computer comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 11 as its operating system. The laptop, which has a thickness of 28.45mm and a weight of 2.66kg, is powered by an 80Wh battery and includes a 330W power adaptor.


The cost of the Redmi G Pro Gaming Laptop Ryzen Edition laptop is 7,599 yuan, or approximately $1,092. Pre-orders are presently being accepted, and delivery should begin on September 15 in China.
