According to Apple, the transparency mode and active noise suppression have been upgraded. Apple claims that a single charge will provide up to six hours of use, and the charging case can provide up to 30 hours. In addition to supporting Qi charging, it can also be used with the Apple Watch charger and other MagSafe chargers.
