The ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro, the company's newest flagship smartphones, were released a few months ago. Finally, the brand's high-end flagship products are being made accessible for purchase in the US.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro smartphones are now available for pre-order through the firm, with prices starting at $999. However, the proposed delivery date is around the end of the next month. Therefore, individuals who place a pre-order will have to wait a few weeks before receiving their phone.
The smartphones have a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, and an in-display fingerprint reader for security. There’s also 111% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, HDR10+ capability, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The devices' internal processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip. The Pro variant offers up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, while the basic model comes with up to 16GB of RAM.
Both phones include a triple-camera arrangement on their backs, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor along with a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera.On the front side, there’s a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor for taking selfies and video calling.
The smartphones come with dual front-facing speakers, triple microphones, Dirac Virtuo spatial audio, and a headphone jack. The devices run the Android 12-based ROG UI and offer IPX4 water resistance. They are powered by a dual cell unit with a total capacity of 6,000mAh and have support for 65W fast charging.
