MIUI 14 feature list began to emerge about a year after MIUI 13 was released. While everyone was anticipating for a MIUI 13.5 version to arrive between MIUI 13 and MIUI 14, Xiaomi surprised everyone by presenting the MIUI 14 version.

Everyone anticipates a fresh design language with the MIUI 14 release. MIUI has been upgrading versions in the form of one version optimization and one version redesign for years. MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 13 were introduced as optimization versions after the MIUI 12 release. Now is the time to reshuffle the deck; MIUI 14 will be released shortly with a fresh design language.

MIUI 14 Images Leaked

The first true screenshot of MIUI 14 was seen in today's leaked photograph of the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The leaked image depicts an interface that is identical to MIUI 13. Inside the version bubble, we can see "MIUI 14 0818.001 Beta." So the MIUI 14 leaked screenshots are a month old.

Another implication of this screenshot is that, like MIUI 13, MIUI 14 will be released alongside the next Xiaomi gadget. MIUI 13 was released concurrently with the Xiaomi 12 series. It appears like MIUI 14 will be released at the same time as the Xiaomi 13 series.

Devices ineligible for MIUI 14

Devices ineligible for MIUI 14 are those that will not receive the new major MIUI 14 interface upgrade. If your device is not on the list of MIUI 14 Eligible Devices and is present, it will not receive the new MIUI 14 Update. That means you won't be able to enjoy the new interface's interesting features. These new features will not be available to the devices on the list.

  • Mi 9T / Mi 9T Pro
  • Mi CC9 / Mi CC9 Meitu
  • Redmi K20 / K20 Pro / K20 Pro Premium

  • Redmi Note 9 / Note 9S/ Note 9 Pro / Note 9 Pro Max

  • Redmi 9/ 9A / 9AT / 9i / 9C
  • POCO M2 / Pro
  • Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite
  • POCO C3 / C31
While it is heartbreaking to see these devices no longer receiving official updates, it was their time to depart. As with new MIUI skin updates, the operating system gets more and more dependent on the Android version, and because these devices employ the old Android version 11, adapting new features to this old Android foundation becomes more difficult. As a result, it is typical for the software support of the devices to be interrupted. You may look at the Xiaomi EOS list to find out which devices' software support has been ceased and have therefore reached the end-of-support list. The Xiaomi EOS list may be found here.
