Lenovo unveiled a new gaming monitor at IFA 2022 that can also be used by artists. Highlight characteristics of the new Legion Y32p-30 include 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Let's examine each feature in further detail.
The 31.5-inch 4K IPS screen on the Lenovo Legion Y32p-30 boasts a 3,840 x 2,160p resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The Y32p-30 includes a WLED backlight and an anti-glare panel, according to Lenovo.
With this revolutionary display, the business boasts a remarkable response time of 0.2 ms response times (MPRT). Other than that, the Legion Y32p-30 sports a 400 nit peak brightness level and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. It boasts 10-bit colour depth and has Display HDR 400 certification.The monitor offers 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 colour space coverage for artists. It is calibrated at the factory to have a Delta E2 colour accuracy. The display also has "Natural Low Blue Light" option and 16 local dimming zones.
For compatibility with cutting-edge graphics cards and contemporary game consoles, Lenovo offers two HDMI 2.1 ports. The Legion Y32p-30, in a similar vein, has a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection in addition to a USB Type-C connector that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and has a combined bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps across four PCIe lanes. The display also has dual 5 W speakers and five USB 3.2 Gen 1 connections of different standards, as well as a 3.5 mm audio out if you want to use external audio equipment.
Lenovo has not confirmed a release date for the Legion Y32p-30, but it will be available in 2023. However, when it does hit the market, the company says the monitor will cost €999 in the Eurozone.
