This Wednesday, Apple will hold its annual September event, during which it is anticipated to introduce the new iPhone 14 family as well as new smartwatches. The highest-end, most "Pro" wearable the business has ever produced is one of those, tentatively dubbed the Apple Watch Pro.
And now, less than 48 hours from what might be its formal announcement, the Apple Watch Pro has been spotted in several CAD-based renderings. They depict a larger device than previous Apple Watch generations, and speculation is it may have a 47 or 49 mm shell and a nearly 2" display that will reportedly be flat to better protect it from damage.
This is due to rumours that this product will be a wearable for athletes and individuals who enjoy outdoor activities, competing with brands like Garmin. The larger dimensions and possibly enhanced ruggedness result from this. It also features an additional button on the left side, however its use is yet unknown.
A larger battery will be possible because to the larger size, and previous leaks indicate that the Watch Pro will also include a titanium case and a low-power mode. But considering that the reported pricing range for this smartwatch is between $900 and $1,000, all of this might end up costing you dearly.
If the Apple Watch Pro (or whatever it will be named) isn't revealed this week, then there's always Apple's October event to take care of that - this is when new tablets and computers generally see the light of day, and it may be the same this year.
