A few new smartphones from Motorola's Edge line will shortly be announced. However, it seems that there are also a number of launches outside the lineup, one of which is a new Moto E22i model that was just discovered on a certification website.
We previously noted that this new E series model had been discovered on the websites for the FCC and TDRA certifications. Additionally, the NBTC website has recently revealed the Moto E22i on another similar database. We can observe that the incoming smartphone has the model number XT2239-19 in all three listings. These listings also suggest that the in question device will be released globally.
We can confidently infer that based on its name that the Moto E22i is an affordable smartphone that will target the low cost budget category in the market. But unfortunately, the latest sighting on the Thai based certification platform did not reveal any other finer details regarding the new device. So we still have no information related to its specifications and design as of right now.
Even still, it is evident from the certificates that the device lacks 5G connection. Notably, the two IMEI numbers listed by the FCC also suggest that dual SIM capability will be available when it ships. The information we currently have about this smartphone is everything there is to know about it, so stay tuned for updates when new information becomes available.
