Itel appears to be preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India soon. A recent leak has revealed that the upcoming device will be part of the company's Vision line, as well as the design.
The leak comes from a 91Mobiles article, which obtained the information from industry insiders close to the situation. According to the rumour, a promotional picture of the next Itel Vision series gadget has been released. This image shows the front and back of the smartphone. The back sports a vertically stacked dual camera array as well as a fingerprint scanner on the back, while the front has a water drop notch for the front camera and minimum bezels.
According to the leaked picture, the gadget will also contain at least one color option in Blue. Furthermore, the report also shared some specifications regarding the new Vision series handset. Reportedly, the smartphone will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports up to 18W fast charging. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the device is still unknown.
However, teaser photographs from the company have verified that it will be available with at least 3GB of RAM in one of the configurations and will also enable 3GB of virtual RAM extension. This Itel model would be priced under 8,000 INR in India, indicating that it is a low-cost device aimed at the budget market. The company has a strong presence in the sub-10,000 INR market in the area, and the new model aims to expand its range even further.
