At its Far Out Event, Apple made a number of product announcements. The company unveiled three new smartwatches, two TWS, and four new iPhones at the event in addition to the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The good news is that the company has already revealed the retail prices for India, where all of these gadgets will soon be available.

Starting on September 9, pre-orders for the two standard models, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, will be accepted in India. On September 16th, the iPhone 14 will go on sale, while the iPhone 14 Plus won't be available until October 7th. Pre-ordering for the Pro variants will start on September 9 and retail sales will begin on September 16 after that.

The Apple Watch Series 8 is available in India for a starting price of Rs. 45,900 for the base model with an aluminium body and a maximum price of Rs. 79,900 for the most expensive model with a stainless-steel finish. The new Apple Watch SE costs Rs. 29,900, while the Apple Watch Ultra costs Rs. 89,900 and is currently available for pre-order in India.

In India, the second-generation AirPods Pro are available for Rs. 26,900. The pre-order period for these new earphones begins on September 9 and they will go on sale starting on September 23.

These new goods will be sold through authorised resellers and on the Apple India website (opens in new tab).

Apple is planning to gain market share in India

Even if straight conversion isn't the best method, it is enough to demonstrate the startling price difference for the Indian market compared to the worldwide pricing, even though the new iPhones are by no means inexpensive by any stretch of the imagination.

Users anticipated that the new iPhones would be significantly more affordable because they are produced locally, but that doesn't seem to be the case right now.

Further, sources imply that Apple is looking to enlarge its market area in the premium device segment. The business may be hoping to profit from the devices' local production and the approaching holiday season.

Remember that it sent a record 5.4 million iPhones to India in 2017. Apple is undoubtedly attempting to take a bigger bite out of the premium smartphone market, which is predicted to reach a 10% market share in the near future.
