For Unbeknownst to many, Jio acquired 24,740MHz of the 5G airwaves, while Airtel was able to secure 19867.8MHz and Vodafone-Idea was able to secure 3300MHz. In order to cover the initial portion of the spectrum payment, all of these telecom providers as well as Adani Data Network have contributed Rs. 17,873 crores.

Additionally, Airtel paid Rs. 8312.4 crores, or four annual instalments in advance, while Vodafone-Idea cleared Rs. 1,679.98 crores. Reliance Jio paid Rs. 7,864.78 crores. The Adani Data Network, on the other hand, has cleared Rs. 18.94 crores.
