With iOS 16, Google is also putting some of its applications to your iPhone's lock screen for quick access. In addition, if you choose, some app updates will be available straight on the lock screen. The lock screen on the iPhone is the first thing you see when you pick up the phone, and a few important Google Suite applications may be placed there for quick and time-saving access. Here's a short review of the Google Suite apps that will be available soon.
Search
With iOS 16, you may use the lock screen to search for something on Google Search. The Search widget, too, may be customised to search using voice or camera. You are able to communicate. and get some text translated via the microphone and the translate Search widgets right next to the search bar. Some of these Google Search Lock Screen widgets, include a rounded rectangular Search bar and four circular widgets for Voice, Lens, Translate via Lens, Shopping via Lens and Homework via Lens.
Chrome
Chrome Lock Screen widgets such as Search in Chrome, Voice Search, Incognito mode, and Chrome Dino game allow you to open Chrome, search with your voice, or load the dino game.
Drive
Our Drive widgets allow you to access your files. "With a simple tap, open a suggested Drive file or your starred files and folders to start up where you left off with that work project or short story manuscript," Google wrote in a blog post.
Maps by Google
The Maps Frequent Trips widget will provide you with real-time traffic information as well as predicted journey times to locations. You may discover restaurants, hotels, stores, and other sports of interest with the Maps Search widget.
Gmail
Gmail’s Lock Screen widget is meant to automatically show you the number of new messages in your inbox. You can also check which inbox categories contain new messages with a little customisation in the widget.
Google News
