The Honor X40 smartphone will be unveiled in full next week on September 15. Honor announced the device a few days ago, teasing that it will sport a curved screen with a notch in the centre for the selfie camera.
A Chinese rumour today provides us with a number of the phone's specifications, starting with its 6.67-inch screen, 1080x2400 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit colour support. In addition, the Honor X40 is rumoured to have an 8 MP selfie camera, a 50 MP primary rear camera, and a 2 MP secondary camera.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which was also utilised in the Honor X30, the X40's predecessor, which debuted last December, will be in charge of things. Keeping the chipset the same is undoubtedly a strange decision, especially in light of the Snapdragon 695's lack of power.
However, it is said that the Honor X40 would include a 5,100 mAh battery, which is 300 mAh more than that of its predecessor, and 40W fast charging. On top of Android 12 will be Magic UI 6.1. The phone reportedly weighs 172g and has dimensions of 161.6 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm.
