Honor has released the X40 5G smartphone in China. Along with the smartphone, the company also unveiled the Honor Pad X8 tablet.
Specifications for the Honor Pad X8
The 10.1-inch LCD display on the Pad X8 has a 19201200 pixel resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 224PPI pixel density, and an 80.6% screen-to-body ratio. The display panel supports multi-touch, allowing for up to ten simultaneous touches. It has dimensions of 240.2 159 7.55mm and weighs 460g.
The tablet is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also an SD card port for memory expansion. The tablet runs Magic UI 4.0, which is based on Android 10. It has a 5100mAh battery.It takes around three hours to completely charge.
It boasts an aluminium housing, 1620 dual big-amplitude speakers, a 2.2cc huge sound chamber, and Honor Histen sound effects support. In terms of connection, the tablet has Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, but no 3.5mm headphone connector.
Price and availability
The Honor Pad X8 is available in Dawn blue and Mint green, and the 4GB+128GB variant costs 1199 yuan ($171), while the 6GB+128GB model costs 1299 yuan ($185). It is already available for pre-order in China and will be available for purchase on September 22nd.
