In China, Honor has launched three new MagicBook laptops. The Honor MagicBook V 14 2022 is a new touchscreen laptop, and the MagicBook X-series PCs are powered by the Alder Lake platform. The new items are only accessible in China and may not be available abroad. The models were unveiled on September 15 during Honor's Autumn Event.
The Honor MagicBook V 14 2022 comes with a 2.5K 10-point touch display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It does not have the option of an RTX 2050 graphics card, but instead uses Iris Xe graphics. The V 14 2022 Independent Graphics Edition adds a GeForce MX550 to the Iris Xe. The MagicBook V 14 2022 is powered by a Core i5-12500H or AMD processor.Processors i7-12700H
The MagicBook X 14 and X 16 2022 versions are made of thin and light aluminium. They both have 16:10 aspect ratios, and the X 14 has a 2.2K display. The MagicBook X 16 2022, on the other hand, features an FHD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The X 14 likewise has a refresh rate of 90Hz, and both models have eye care health features. Both are TUV Rheinland certified, with 60Wh batteries and 65W charging. The Core i5-12500H/i5-1235U CPUs power the two MagicBook X-series versions.
The basic MagicBook V 14 2022 (Core i5-12500H) costs 5,999 yuan ($858), while the Independent Graphics Edition costs 6,499 yuan ($929). Honor MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 16 2022 start at 4,699 yuan (~$672). All three MagicBook laptops can be pre-ordered from the Honor China website.
