Google is developing a new Android feature that will lessen background noise and improve the clarity of your carrier conversations. It is known as the Clear Calling feature, and it was found in the most recent version of Android 13, Quarterly Platform Release (QPR1 Beta), according to a report by Android Authority based on Mishaal Rahman's findings.

According to the report, the feature will function for calls on the majority of mobile networks but not for Wi-Fi calling. Your call content won't be shared with Google, based on the information provided on the settings page, which is good news for those concerned about their privacy.

The Noise Cancellation tool in Google Meet is designed to also cancel out background noises including typing noises, door closing noises, noise from neighbouring construction sites, etc. With Clear Calling, Google may increase the sources of noise to enhance the normal call quality on an Android smartphone by introducing the capability to filter out noise from the road, background conversation, etc. When a smartphone user's call quality degrades during normal calls, they now have the option of using voice calling apps when connected to the internet via mobile data. But even so, practically everyone will value an improvement in carrier call quality.
