Emojis may be found anywhere. Emoji have become an essential part of our daily communication, and Google has now increased emoji support on Android operating systems. In an official Google Developers blog post, the firm announced the inclusion of Unicode 15 emojis, animated emojis, colour customizations, and more.
Unicode 15 emojis will be available for Android later this year.
To begin, the firm has announced the addition of a new Unicode 15 emoji library, which will be integrated to AOSP in the next weeks and released to Android in December. The new emojis include ginger, donkey, moose, jellyfish, pea pod, left and right hand, shaking face, wing, new heart colours, and more.
Android is getting animated emotes.
Google will also add animated emojis to Android. The business announced the arrival of the original dancer emoji via phone operator KDDI in a blog post. The business plans to add roughly 200 animated emoticons, some of which are currently available in Google Messages.
Noto Emoji typeface with colours
In addition to the new Unicode 15 and Dancing emotes, the business has revealed a coloured version of its Noto Emoji typeface. Noto Emoji is a free and open-source typeface that is used by Chrome and other Google products. Until until, the typeface only allowed monochromatic emojis. However, the business has finally added colour support to it.
