The free PlayStation Plus games for September 2022 have been revealed. Beginning the following week, subscribers of the PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium plans will get access to these games. On September 6, Need for Speed Heat, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, and Toem, a hand-drawn adventure game, will be available to PS Plus users. Up until October 3 you can add these games to your PS library, but after that you'll need to keep your subscriptions active in order to play them.
Late on Wednesday, Sony announced the additions on the PlayStation Blog. More games from the Game or Classics Catalogue will be made available to PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe users.
PS Plus: Need for Speed Heat in September 2022
Heat, the third instalment in the redesigned Need for Speed series, transports you to Palm City, a made-up city in Florida. You must hustle during the day to compete in sanctioned races in the Speedhunters Showdown as a white-knuckle street racer. The money obtained can then be utilised to modify and customise your vehicles for the thrilling nighttime illegal racing. You gain street cred, forge good relationships, and establish your reputation here. On the PS4, Need for Speed Heat will be playable.
September 2022 on PS Plus: Granblue Fantasy: Versus
Granblue Fantasy: Versus enhances its cutting-edge fighting game elements with an RPG-like story element. It has a colourful cast of 12 combatants, each with their own distinct moveset and personality, and they can all be controlled using four buttons, much as in most traditional fighting games. This entry has 3D visuals and a high-quality cell-shaded art style thanks to a collaboration between Cygames and developer Arc System Works. Additionally nominated for The Game Awards 2020's Best Fighting category, it was defeated by Mortal Kombat 11 there. On the PS4, Granblue Fantasy: Versus will be playable.
September 2022, PS Plus: Toem
Players in this hand-drawn adventure game must employ their photographic sense to solve the puzzles of the mythical kingdom of Toem. You can go across a tranquil countryside while interacting with oddball people and helping them solve their problems by taking cool images. When using cameras to solve puzzles, the game shifts from its primary top-down perspective to a first-person one. You can spend stamps—which you obtain by assisting other NPCs—to board a bus and go to the following level. On the PS5, Toem will be playable.
Additionally, Sony emphasised that all PlayStation Plus members still have until September 5 to add the puzzle-platform horror adventure Little Nightmares, the skateboarding game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, and the Japanese role-playing game Yakuza: Like A Dragon to their library. These are the three free games for August that were announced.
The monthly cost of a PlayStation Plus subscription in India ranges from Rs. 499 for Essential to Rs. 749 for Extra to Rs. 849 for Deluxe. All three tiers come with the complimentary games each month.
