European debut of the OPPO Reno 8 series: cost, features, and availability

 The OPPO Reno 8 line of smartphones has finally made it to Europe after debuting in China and a few other international countries. Three smartphones, the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Lite, have all been introduced in the area. Let's examine their specifications, features, and prices now.


OPPO Reno 8 Pro specifications and characteristics



The Reno 8 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with HDR10+ compatibility and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 8, on the other hand, sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. However, HDR10 is not supported by the default model. Both variants have built-in fingerprint scanners for displays.

The Dimensity 8100-Max chipset is found within the Reno 8 Pro, as opposed to the Dimensity 1300 processor in the base model. A single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is offered for both models.


Both models have cameras with similar technology, however the Pro model performs better. A 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera are all present on both devices. The front of the gadget houses a 32MP IMX709 sensor with an RGBW matrix for improved low-light performance.


Both devices will run ColorOS 12.1, an Android 12.0-based operating system. A 4,500mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC rapid charging are shared by both devices. However, wireless charging is not supported.


Reno 8, OPO Lite specs & features



The OPPO Reno 8 Lite has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The top left corner has a punch-hole cutout. The device includes an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Reno 8 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. It includes 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. There is RAM technology that can be upgraded up to 5GB. A 4,500mAh battery within the smartphone allows 33W quick charging.


On the back panel of the OPPO Reno 8 Lite, there is a rectangular camera module. Around the camera ring, there are two orbit lights that illuminate when a notification is received. The camera system combines a 64MP primary sensor with 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. The device has a 16MP selfie camera on the front.


ColorOS 12, which is based on Android 12, comes preinstalled on the OPPO Reno 8 Lite 5G. The device has a USB-C port and 5G connection.port, a 3.5mm socket, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
