The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro were released internationally last year, and the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are their successors. The release date for Google's forthcoming smartphones, which is set for October 6, has already been made public. The Google-first Pixel Watch is also anticipated to go on sale. At its Google I/O 2022 event, the search engine giant offered us a preview of these next gadgets. Now, the company has unveiled a new design film featuring the Pixel 7 Pro smartphone.
The new Pixel Watch and the Pixel Buds Pro were included in a shorter video that Google had just published, but it either masked out some details of the phones or zoomed in, making it into a teaser. In essence, the new video helps us better understand how Google's future Pixel 7 Pro will seem when it is released. It demonstrates the back camera module's chiselled overhaul, which has replaced the Pixel 6 Pro's metal and glass architecture with what now looks to be a metal construction. The design displays the new colour selections and seems pretty elegant and seamless.
The Pixel 7 will come in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow finishes, while the Pixel 7 Pro will come in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow finishes, according to the official Google Store website. In contrast to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which both have glossy glass back panels, the Pixel 7 looks to have a matte-finished camera module and frame. According to the video, the camera module and frame of the Pixel 7 Pro have a chrome-like shiny surface.
Rumored specs for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro
Since Google I/O 2022, when we first saw the new Pixel devices, the company has been coy about disclosing hardware-related details. According to official information, it will use a Tensor G2 SoC, an update over the Tensor SoC seen in the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a. The modifications between the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series, according to further information that was just leaked, could not be that significant.
While the Pixel 7 Pro is said to have a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Pixel 7 is expected to have a 6.3-inch full-HD+ 90Hz refresh rate display. According to a new leak, the Pixel 7 Pro will reportedly come in a 12GB RAM version. Both smartphones are reportedly offered with 128GB and 256GB of storage space. The Pixel 7 is said to have three rear cameras, including an extra 48-megapixel telephoto camera, while the Pixel 7 Pro is supposed to have three back cameras with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The selfie cameras on both smartphones are anticipated to have 11-megapixel sensors.
India availability for Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro has been verified.
Since the release of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, Google has shunned the Indian market for its high-end smartphones. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL were the most recent high-end Pixel smartphones to arrive in India. Since that time, Google has only released its entry-level smartphones in the nation, including the Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4a, and most recently, the Pixel 6a. To change things up in the high-end luxury smartphone market, which has been controlled by Samsung and Apple, Google has confirmed that its Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones will officially be arriving to India this year. Google has not yet announced the launch date or pre-order window for the phones.
