This year, Realme celebrated its fourth birthday. Within four years of its 2018 launch as a new brand spun off from OPPO, it has more than 140 million users worldwide. It is currently the sixth-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Madhav Sheth, Realme's VP and Head of Realme International, provided some information about the company's future intentions in an interview with GSMArena.



The Realme GT 2 Master Edition (review), the company's first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, made its debut in China. Sheth stated in the interview that Realme would soon release a flagship device powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in international regions, which appears to be the global release of the GT 2 Master Edition. but he did not share further details on it. The SD8+G1 Realme phone will offer a better design as compared to other phones with the same chip.

The GT-series flagship from Realme will debut in 2023 and provide top-tier experiences in areas including design, display, screen experience, battery optimization, and charging. The business will only release one generation of the number series each year. Smaller enhancements, though, will occur in six months.


Sheth wants European consumers to experience the high calibre of Realme's goods. The company plans to release more audio items, wearables, laptops, and TVs in addition to phones. By constructing its own stores in Europe soon, it would suggest that the corporation will put more of an emphasis on its offline presence. The corporation will broaden its relationship with carriers at the same time.
