In August of this year, the OnePlus 10T with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 was released in India. Now, ahead of the general release, the Chinese smartphone maker has started the Andorid 13-based OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta Testing (CBT) programme for OnePlus 10T owners in the nation. The limited-time Closed Beta programme allows OnePlus 10T customers to receive early software updates, but only 100 OnePlus 10T owners in India will be allowed to join. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers the OnePlus 10T. A 4,800mAh battery with 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition wired charging and a 50-megapixel triple back camera configuration are included.

The Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 CBT programme is presently available for 100 OnePlus 10T subscribers in India, according to a recent post on the OnePlus community website. Users in the nation may use the programme to preview the Chinese smartphone brand's upcoming custom skin and provide comments and bug reports to help enhance the software experience. If previous updates are any indication, OnePlus will announce the Open Beta programme, followed by a Stable release after the CBT is completed.

Active OnePlus Community members are eligible to participate in the programme, and participants must adhere to a set of guidelines before being accepted. To participate in the CBT programme, they must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with OnePlus to safeguard the confidentiality of the new services they get through beta testing. The short-term programme may result in data loss from OnePlus 10T smartphones, thus participants should always save all of their contents.

All qualified participants will be asked to engage with OnePlus personnel on a regular basis in order to report difficulties and provide ideas. This will be done via Telegram. OnePlus 10T owners in India who are interested in participating in the campaign may visit this page.

The OnePlus 10T was announced last month, with the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option costing Rs. 46,999.

It is powered by Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 and has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,412 pixel) Fluid AMOLED display. The OnePlus 10T is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone also has a triple rear camera configuration led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX769 main sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie sensor, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 dual-lane storage, and a 4,800mAh dual-cell battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC Endurance Edition wired charging.
