Recently, Xiaomi introduced its newest Redmi series laptop, the Redmi G Pro Gaming Laptop Ryzen Edition, in its native market of China. It is currently formally offered for sale on the Chinese market.
The price of the premium laptop is 7,599 yuan, or approximately $1,094. The device is designed specifically for gamers and has a strong set of specifications, as the name suggests.
The 16-inch LCD display on the Redmi G Pro Ryzen Edition provides a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a fast refresh rate of 240Hz. Additionally, it supports the full sRGB colour gamut, has a 500 nit brightness, a 10 bit colour depth, is HDR 400 certified, and is dimmable.
The device's internal hardware consists of an AMD Ryzen R7-6800H processor and an RTX 3060 6G 130W graphics processor. The system has 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD and 16GB dual-channel DDR5-4800 RAM for memory.
Four heat pipes and two 12V fans are also included to ensure that the temperature is maintained even under severe load. There are three USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, one USB-A 2.0 port, and a USB-C port that supports 100W PD.port, a Mini DP 1.4 port, HDMI 2.0 port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone hack along with a network port and a DC power port.
Coming to the software department, the device runs the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system out-of-the-box. The laptop, which weighs 2.66kg and measures 28.45mm in thickness, is powered by an 80Wh battery and comes with a 330W power adapter.
