Huawei today said that in addition to introducing the Huawei Mate 50 series at its September 6 launch event, the company will also introduce the Huawei Matebook E Go (2022), a laptop that will compete with the Surface Pro X.

Huawei said today that its highly anticipated Huawei Mate 50 series of flagship smartphones would be unveiled at the launch event alongside its most recent generation of convertible tablet laptop notebooks, the Huawei Matebook E Go (2022). The Huawei Matebook E Go is marketed by Huawei as a beautifully designed, lightweight productivity tool with equal parts grace and performance.

The social media post did not disclose the details or attributes of the Huawei Matebook E Go. However, it did show the design of the Huawei Matebook E Go.

The Microsoft Surface Pro X laptop and the iPad Pro line of tablets have a similar physical factor with the Huawei Matebook E Go (2022), a detachable 2-in-1 tablet notebook laptop. A folio keyboard cover with a trackpad and a stylus that magnetically attaches to the side of the Matebook E Go (2022) makes it easier to carry around. It matches the colour of the laptop and comes with it.

The promotional graphic indicates that Windows 11 is the device's operating system. We observe a Type-C USB port for connectivity and connectors, which should handle charging and data transfers, as well as a 3.5mm headphone socket for wired audio when necessary. There also appears to be a video-capable front-facing webcam.calls, and a rear camera for taking photos if needed.

From the picture, the Huawei Matebook E Go (2022) notebook will be arriving in both Black and White, and the folio keyboard cover will be available in either Black or Rose Gold.

Several certifications and leaks of the Huawei Matebook E Go have already appeared online, despite Huawei not having acknowledged the internal specifications of the Huawei Matebook E Go (2022).

The Huawei Matebook E Go (2022) will reportedly include Qualcomm's most recent Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 mobile platform, which is based on TSMC's highly effective 5nm process and boasts a low power draw with its maximum TDP of 15W. The laptop also supports USB-C Power Delivery 65W rapid wired charging.
