According to reports, Google intends to shift the manufacturing of the forthcoming Pixel series from China. The Pixel 7 series is anticipated to be produced in Vietnam. Google has previously produced its mid-range A-series devices in Vietnam, including the Pixel 4a, Pixel 5a, and Pixel 6a. Google might not be able to entirely leave China, the article continues. The business is rumoured to be investigating the possibility of creating a foldable smartphone in 2023, which is anticipated to call for close ties with Chinese suppliers.

The New York Times reported that Google intends to transfer manufacturing from Foxconn facilities in southern China. The company is rumoured to produce the next Pixel 7 series in Vietnam. Additionally, the company anticipates that up to half of the high-end Pixel smartphones, including the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, would be produced in Vietnam.

It's interesting to think that Google may be working on a foldable phone for 2023. According to reports, in order to produce such a gadget, the corporation will need to buy newer screens and hinges, which may need sourcing from Chinese manufacturers.

But according to a recent claim, Foxconn factories in China are already producing a premium Pixel 7 series phone and Google's foldable phone. The Google Pixel Notepad or Pixel Fold are rumoured names for the foldable phone. The Pixel 7 Ultra, on the other hand, might be the premium model of the Pixel 7.

The ordinary Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro are anticipated to launch with the Pixel 7 series. According to reports, pre-orders for the series will start on October 6 and sales will start on October 13 in the US. The Pixel 7 series' rear panel design, which is rumoured to be driven by the company's second-generation Tensor SoC, has previously been made public by Google.
