The vivo Y22s first appeared in Vietnam last month, and the company is currently marketing the vivo Y22, an even more cost-effective variant. In Indonesia, the gadget is already available for pre-order for IDR2,399,000, or about $160.
The manufacturer preserved the two cameras and the large battery but brought an older chipset and less RAM to cut the price.
The 6.55" LCD screen on the vivo Y22 has a waterdrop notch on top and a 720p resolution. A 50MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera are present. The footprint and the 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging are two additional features that the Y22 shares with the Y22s. However, the Y22 is 2 grammes lighter.
The Helio G85 chipset is the primary change. Although Vivo refers to it as a "gaming CPU," it is actually a two-year-old chipset that was used to power mid-range handsets in mid-2020.
The vivo Y22 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage by default, however a 6/128GB version is anticipated in the future. Customers in Indonesia may already pre-order the tablet for IDR2,399,000, or around $160.Starlite Blue, Metaverse Green, or Summer Cyan colors.
