According to reports, Apple suppliers are preparing for the upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro notebooks. These next-generation laptops are slated to go into commercial production in Q4 2022, featuring new 5nm chipsets. According to the source, shipments of the current generation of MacBook Pro computers have already begun to decline. Nonetheless, Apple may have the least loss among the top six PC companies in 2022. According to the source, Apple suppliers have begun delaying manufacturing of the first-generation Apple AirPods Pro in response to the recent release of the second-generation device.

According to a Digitimes story citing industry sources, Apple suppliers are reducing manufacturing of existing MacBook Pro models in order to prepare for the creation of the next-generation 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro computers.

According to reports, shipments of current MacBook Pro models may remain the same or increase slightly in 2021. According to the estimate, Apple's PC market share may fall by only 1.4 percent year on year.

Other prominent PC manufacturers, on the other hand, may witness a significant decrease in shipments. Asus might have a 9.2 percent YoY loss, Lenovo 14.7 percent, Dell 18 percent, HP 22.6 percent, and Acer 33.2 percent.

The rumoured MacBook Pro models are scheduled to enter commercial production in Q4 of 2022 and will most likely have 5nm processors, implying that these laptops may include an updated version of the M2 Chip that drives the current generation of MacBook Pro.

According to the Digitimes story, Apple suppliers may be taking similar actions for the upcoming Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) by reducing manufacturing of the first-generation AirPods Pro TWS headphones. The Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) were just unveiled at the 'Far Out' event and will be available for purchase in India beginning September 23.
