Apple has just released the much-anticipated iPhone 14 series. We recently reported on the battery capacity of the new iPhones, which showed a bigger battery pack than the iPhone 13 range. However, it looks that the battery replacement cost for these new smartphones would be more than that of the previous generation iPhones.
Aside from the iPhone 14 Pro Max model and the lack of a tiny edition, the remainder of the lineup saw a minor increase in battery packs. However, according to a 9To5Mac story, Apple's next iPhones will feature more expensive battery replacements. The battery replacement for the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max is expected to cost approximately 99 US Dollars.
In comparison, the iPhone 13 series battery replacement costs only $69 USD. In other words, despite the fact that battery capacities are essentially comparable between the two generations, the corporation has recently raised the price by roughly 43 percent. The above mentioned rates were for the United States; however, the UK pricing for iPhone 14 series battery replacement is roughly 105 Pounds, which is up from 69 Pounds for the prior generation.
Keep in mind that these rates only apply to iPhone models that have passed their one-year warranty or do not have AppleCare+ insurance. The battery in your new iPhone 14 series will most likely survive for a couple of years. As a result, one may have to pay the price for abattery replacements a few years later. Although, the AppleCare+ will offer free unlimited repair for those subscribed to the plan.
