Apple dominates the global TWS industry and aims to increase its share with the new AirPods Pro.

  According to a recent report, Apple's audio sub-brand Beats by Dre performed better than expected, which contributed to the company's overall shipment growth of 13.1% in the global TWS market in the second quarter (Q2) of this year.



Apple managed to do this despite the AirPods TWS series' 2% growth slowdown and 15.3 million devices shipped, according to Canalys.

According to research analyst Sherry Jin, "Apple will be counting on its new AirPods Pro model to fuel both shipment and revenue growth for its wearables, home, and accessories category in the coming quarters."

The following-generation AirPods Pro must also offer fresh and useful wow factors, "such distinct ecosystem-integrated content consumption and health-tracking functions," Jin continued.

Intensifying already are vendorsfor the coming festive season, putting in place new devices, especially for the higher-end segment.

The second iteration of Apple's AirPods Pro are now on sale in India for Rs 26,900.
