Online players can enjoy the five-letter word game Wordle, which is owned by the New York Times. Each day, a new word is revealed in the game, and participants have six chances to guess it correctly. Players may notice variations in the colour of the tiles as they make guesses, which is intended to aid them in determining the correct solution. A yellow letter indicates that it is in today's word but in the wrong place, while a grey letter shows that it is not in today's word. The next letter is green, indicating that it is in the right word and position.

The daily puzzle game is entertaining and piques players' interest in trying to guess the word. On the New York Times website, it can be viewed without cost. Josh Wardle, a Welsh software engineer, designed Wordle at first.

  1. I have a fairly rigid decision tree worked out in advance, with two “first word” options to choose from based on how I’m feeling. Often the results of the first word lead me immediately into uncharted waters. If not, I have a group of “second word” syllables/compounds that I combine with guidance from the first word results. I find that my enjoyment of the puzzle is not diminished by having a system. Far from it! wordle
