An augmented reality project called The Gateway to the Future seeks to "enrich cultural legacy through the power of technology." It comprises of two augmented reality (AR) experiences centred around Hamburg's landmark Wasserschloss, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Honor collaborated with ARLOOPA to bring the idea to life and assigned Yunuene and Timo Helgert, two visual artists, the challenge of using AR to imaginatively remodel the Wasserschloss.

The "Sailing Through Time" project by Yunuene takes viewers on a tour of the history of marine logistics in Hamburg, a port city. In his piece titled "Blooming Future," Timo Helgert adopts a more futuristic perspective and envisions the Wasserschloss as a lush, green sanctuary for plants and endangered creatures.

Using the ARLOOPA app, both activities are free to take part in. Users who are fortunate enough to be in Hamburg can use the Poggenmühlen-Brücke bridge as a vantage point to use AR. Everyone else can simply project the complete visual ensemble onto a flat surface using a flat surface.
