A few months after introducing its premium TW-E7B true wireless earbuds, Yamaha has now formally introduced the wearable audio device in the United States. Currently, the Yamaha TW-E7B can be purchased in the US for $275.95.
Yamaha's own active-noise cancellation system, which it claims doesn't "colour" audio like some other implementations do, is now supported by its first wireless earbuds.
The inbuilt microphone on the earphones is another intriguing feature. It keeps track of how the user's earspace affects the audio output and may be changed to produce a better sound.
It has 10mm drivers and Ambient Mode functionality, which essentially lets users hear the background sounds but mutes all other background noises. In order to swiftly link the device with an Android smartphone, Google's Fast Pair is also supported.
Additionally, the headphones have dedicated volume buttons, which are uncommon on wireless earbuds. The right earbud's volume down button can be quickly and simply used to activate the low-latency mode for games. In relation to the Bluetooth codec support, there’s AAC and aptX adaptive.
