In Indonesia, vivo covertly unveiled a brand-new inexpensive phone. The 44W FlashCharge is its standout feature; most of the company's comparable products are only rated at 18W. The 5,000mAh battery can be charged to 70% using the FlashCharge method in 34 minutes. A 15-minute top-up is sufficient for almost 7 hours of streaming video if you're in a rush. With moderate use, the battery should last 2 days or up to 7 hours of gaming.

A more advanced Y33t would be the upcoming Vivo Y35. The latest model also drives its 6.58" IPS LCD at 90Hz in addition to 44W charging (up from 60Hz). This 20:9 FHD+ display has a brightness of 550 nits and 96% NTSC colour gamut coverage. The Y55 is a comparable device as well, although it has a 6.44" 60Hz AMOLED screen.

The Snapdragon 680 is the processor used in all three of the versions we listed. This 4G chipset, which is essentially a 6nm version of the Snapdragon 662 (11nm), provides good performance for the price range (+20% single-core CPU and +10% GPU performance compared to the 662) and is a 6nm edition of the Snapdragon 662.

Additionally, vivo didn't scrimp on memory: there are 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM (with up to 8GB virtual RAM) (with a dedicated slot for microSD cards up to 1TB). Launching on the phone is FuntouchOS 12. (based on Android 12).

The vivo Y35 is a triple camera setup, with the primary attraction being a 50MP module (f/1.8 lens), while the other two modules include a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Both the rear and front cameras have dedicated night modes, while the front selfie camera features a 16MP sensor.

The Y35 has a 3.5mm headphone connector and is certified for high-resolution audio (and an FM radio receiver). The single speaker will be turned up to 72dB by Audio Booster 2.0, allowing you to hear it even in extremely busy environments.

It has dual-SIM and dual-standby connection and is a 4G phone. Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, and a GNSS receiver are additional features (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS). A 0.24-second reaction time fingerprint reader is located on the side.

Dawn Gold and Agate Black are the two colours that the Y35 is offered in. The IP54 rating keeps dust at away and can protect against a spray of water, while the matte coating deters fingerprints.

For its initial flash sale, the vivo Y35 is already available on Shopee. For IDR3,300,000 ($225/€220/18,000), you can buy a unit.
