The Google Pixel 6a has finally made it to the beaches of the subcontinent and other regions. Users started reporting a few problems with the smartphone and its software within a few days after it became widely accessible. After these problems, the Pixel 6a's durability has come under scrutiny. Now, the device has been put through rigorous tests by the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything to determine its limits.

Test of Durability The Google Pixel 6a has recently been testing by Zack Nelson of the well-known YouTube channel that evaluates the durability of smartphones. It went through the same tests as other smartphones, including bend, flame, and scratch tests. The Pixel 6a produced respectable results despite being a mid-range smartphone, putting it on par with its larger brother, the Pixel 6 Pro, which has already been put to the test by the YouTuber.

The 6.1-inch OLED display of the Pixel 6a, which is covered in Gorilla Glass 3, was subjected to a scratch test in the YouTube video. At scale level 6, the display began to exhibit symptoms of major scratches. At level 7, these marks become more apparent. Additionally, Zack used a razor blade on the frame to expose the solid metal construction of the Pixel 6a's four sides. It seems to be an improvement over the Pixel 6 Pro, which has metal on the other three sides and plastic at the top.

The Pixel 6a's back has a glass-like appearance and looks to be made entirely of plastic. The cameras are shielded by a layer of glass, and the camera module is made of plastic.
