Through the Google Play Beta Program, WhatsApp is releasing an upgrade that brings the software version to 2.22.19.12.

When utilising a particular feature of WhatsApp, such as sending messages or backing up your chat history to Google Drive, there may occasionally be issues; in these cases, submitting a bug report may assist WhatsApp in resolving the problem. Currently, you can submit issues to WhatsApp Support by selecting the "contact us" option; however, the team is currently working on adding a new area solely for bug reports, which will be included in a future app update:
In a future update, a new row right inside WhatsApp Settings will be called "Report bug," and as the name implies, it may be used to report bugs by including a description and accompanying screenshots. We are still unsure about the distinction between reporting bugs through "contact us" versus this section. We must wait for a subsequent update to learn whether a report submitted from this section has a different priority, even though it makes sense to assume that it might.
The part where issues can be reported is currently under construction and will be made available in a subsequent app version.
