Android 2.22.19.3 is listed as a supported update for WhatsApp beta.

Despite installing the upgrade, I am missing this feature. Why? Since this feature is still being worked on, it cannot yet be made available to beta testers. However, you can read this article to learn more about how it functions.

Earlier news?

On iOS beta, WhatsApp is releasing admin delete.

It has been a while since we discussed communities; the last time, we discovered a communities page within WhatsApp Desktop that was still in construction. If you don't already know, a community is a special location where you can locate all relevant groups. You can join a community by clicking on an admin's manual invitation link or by utilising a community invite link (but the feature should be enabled for your account or you may not be able to interact with all the groups of the community).

Today, WhatsApp is releasing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.3 update, which gives some beta testers access to a crucial feature: the capacity to establish communities!

It is extremely simple to determine if the function is already available to your WhatsApp account, as you can see in this screenshot: just observe if the communities tab appears in place of the camera tab. You can already begin constructing a community by adding up to 10 groups by adding them to the app if the communities option is available (and we advise quitting and reopening the app after the upgrade to test it)."Sub-groups" are groups that can accommodate up to 512 individuals. Depending on their personal interests, community members can select which sub-groups to join and can quit a sub-group without leaving the community. If community administrators decide they no longer wish to utilise a community, they can also disable it. If a community breaches WhatsApp's terms of service, other users can also report it.

Following the creation of a community, WhatsApp automatically creates a new group called the announcement group. Community administrators can post messages that are constantly available to everyone in the community by using the announcement group.

Currently, WhatsApp is attempting to prevent other community members from seeing your phone number by hiding it in a subgroup of a community. Unfortunately, this privacy feature is missing from the "initial version" of WhatsApp Communities, so we should anticipate its release in the future. However, no other information, such as the release date, is currently available.

It should be noted that certain users may instead download the 2.22.19.2 update from the Play Store, which is likewise community-compatible. However, just because you installed a compatible update does not automatically grant you the ability to start a community right away: The capacity to build a community is limited because WhatsApp is launching a very small test to a select group of beta testers.even if a community administrator adds you to their community, not accessible for your WhatsApp account. Since it is only accessible to a select group of lucky beta testers, this indicates that additional activations are anticipated over the next several weeks. We'll keep you informed as soon as we have more information to share with you.
