In a future update, WhatsApp plans to add the capability to approve new users.

As this screenshot demonstrates, WhatsApp is planning to add a new group feature called "Approve new members" that would allow group managers to control who can join the group. There will likely be a new area that includes all active requests from people to join the group; group admins can approve or reject incoming requests in this section.
Unfortunately, we don't know when this feature will be launched because it is still in development. When we have more information to share with you, we'll post another article on this page.
