Two foldable smartphones from OPPO are in the works, both powered by the top-tier Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. According to reports, the Chinese tech company intends to introduce its two foldable flagship models this fall. With the release of the Find N in December 2021, OPPO entered the foldable market. The Find N Fold and the Find N Flip are reportedly the names of the two upcoming foldable phones.

The two flagships, according to tipper Yogesh Brar, will make their debuts on the world market this fall and will face off against the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, respectively. The Find N Flip has a clamshell shape, whilst the Find N Fold will resemble a tablet. Both models have received a number of certifications in preparation for their upcoming release. The European Union Intellectual Property Office has also received the devices' registration (EUIPO). There are still a number of information gaps on the devices, but we anticipate that they will start to fill in over time.

Currently, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is in a league of its own. It is still the preferred chipset for flagship products and is very powerful and efficient. Snapdragon is riding on the crest of the increased demand for the top-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and recently inked a partnership deal with Manchester United.

OPPO expects both the Find N Fold and Find N Flip to have a tumultuous reception similar to the Find N which sold out within minutes of its release. No pricing details are available for the two devices but we also expect some competitive pricing as OPPO challenges the dominance of the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip lineup.
