In hands-on images from a few months back, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 was visible in what appeared to be the graphite colouring. There is even a brief film now that has yet more shots of dummy units.
The updated images display two colorways, including the graphite once more and perhaps the pink gold. The latter has lighter panels and a contrasting colour for the metal frame in a two-tone design. Black is used for the cover display/camera island, although it will likely be used for all hues (that was the case for the Z Flip3 at least).
The new Galaxy Z Flip4 will support Samsung's Bespoke programme, which enables you to choose additional combinations for the frame and panels in addition to the regular colours. The number of viable combinations will exceed 70.
As you can see, the layout is almost unchanged from the previous year. However, if a Z Flip3 was present in the image, you might have observed that the new model's measurements were a little bit larger: 167.9 x 73.6 x 7.2mm as opposed to 166 x 72.2 x 6.9mm for the Z Flip3.
This is partly because the battery is bigger (3,700mAh vs. 3,300mAh), but the displays won't change; they'll be 6.7" and feature 1,080 x 2,640mAh on the foldable display. The cover display is expected to be the same 1.9" in size despite earlier leaks that said it would be somewhat larger.
The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, Z Fold4, new Galaxy Watches, and the follow-up to the Galaxy Buds Pro will be unveiled at tomorrow's Galaxy Unpacked. See what we anticipate to see in our thorough rumour roundup, then check back tomorrow for the official information.
