Although India's 5G spectrum auctions are over, the actual rollout has not yet begun. The greatest spender during the seven-day auction process last month was Reliance Jio, the largest telco in India, followed by Bharti Airtel and Vi. Only Jio and Airtel, though, have formally announced their intentions for a sustained launch this month (August 2022), and details are still hazy. Several sources state that either business could launch 5G on August 15, which is Independence Day.
Here is all we currently know, summarised in seven sections, even though the corporations have not yet provided an official date.

Akash Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, announced earlier this month that the business would bring out 5G over all of India to commemorate "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav." Similar to its 4G network, the business has promised "cheap 5G services" in India.
Jio was the biggest spender during the protracted 5G spectrum auction. Nearly half of the airwaves sold, or more over Rs 88,000 crore, were purchased by the firm. Additionally, Jio has purchased spectrum in the exclusive 700MHz band. Currently, it is more valuable than the high-end 1GHz or the more cheap 600MHz bands due to the widespread deployment of devices that support the 700MHz band.
— In a blog post, Bharti Airtel makes it plain that their 5G deployment in India would start in August 2022. In order to start the project, the corporation has network agreements with Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung. Despite buying a total of 19.8GHz of spectrum in the 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz, 3300MHz, and 26GHz bands, Airtel has not bought any spectrum in the 700MHz band.
