The gadget is the successor to the Xiaomi Wireless Mouse Lite, which was released in China a few years ago and had a price tag of 39 yuan (about $6).
The recently unveiled Xiaomi Wireless Mouse Lite 2 features a lightweight design, weighing only 45 grammes empty. Its dimensions are smaller as well, coming in at 108.5mm x 57.5mm x 35.6mm.
It has built-in 2.4GHz wireless transmission capabilities, which provides a consistent and robust transmission signal and eliminates the need to wire the device to a computer or laptop.
According to Xiaomi, the middle button scroll wheel and the main button TTC micro switch work together to activate swiftly. A precision sensor with 1000 DPI is also included. The body of the device is shaped to accommodate the curvature of the hand. An AA battery, which is not provided in the box, powers the mouse.
