Motorola has officially revealed the Motorola X30 Pro, the first phone in the world with a 200-megapixel camera, after months of leaks and rumours. On August 11, 2022, Motorola launched the Moto Razr 2022 and the Motorola X30 Pro. The Moto X30 Pro includes a 200-megapixel camera sensor in addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 125W rapid charging. In China, the phone has just been released.
The 6.7-inch FHD+ IPS display on the Motorola X30 Pro supports 144Hz refresh rates. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage powers the smartphone.
The Motorola X30 Pro's camera is equipped with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 camera that has a 1/1.22-inch sensor size. Apart from Motorola, no other smartphone company has attempted a 200-megapixel sensor. The Motorola X30 Pro comes with a new pixel-binning technology called ChameleonCell.
