The Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y02 Jio are rumoured to debut as entry-level smartphones in India in the middle of September.

 A few days ago, the MediaTek Helio P35-powered Vivo Y02s made its debut in the Philippines. According to recent reports, the device would soon be available in India alongside the Vivo Y02 Jio. The Vivo Y02 is expected to be unveiled in the nation in partnership with telecom behemoth Reliance Jio by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The entry-level smartphones Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y02 Jio are expected to launch. Launched in the Philippines, the Vivo Y02s has a single 8-megapixel primary sensor and 32GB of internal storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging is supported.

The launch information for the Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y02 Jio in India has been provided by Twitter tipper Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz). According to rumours, Vivo and Jio would work together to launch the Vivo Y02 Jio. The Vivo Y02 series will be introduced in the nation in the middle of September, according to the leak. Both models might be offered as entry-level options.


However, Vivo has not yet made any formal announcements regarding the introduction of the Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y02 Jio in India.

The Vivo Y02s was recently released in the Philippines for PHP 6,499 (about Rs 9,250) for the single 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version. It's likely that the specifications of the Vivo Y02s model introduced in the Philippines would be the identical for the Indian version.

The Vivo Y02s has a 6.51-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) Halo Full View IPS LCD display and runs Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12. It is driven by a 3GB RAM and MediaTek Helio P35 SoC.


The Multi-Turbo 5.5 function and Ultra Game Mode are both included with the Vivo Y02s. The Vivo Y02's other notable features include a single 8-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and 32GB of internal storage that enables microSD card expansion. A 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging capabilities is also included.
