Xiaomi is expected to introduce at least five new devices later today. This launch event, which is exclusive to China, is expected to include the foldable Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 smartphone as its main attraction.

According to the report, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 would cost CNY 10,000–10,999 ($1,484–$1,632) when it launches. The version with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage will presumably be charged at this price. The source claims that the foldable will also be offered with 512GB and 1TB of storage space, both of which have 12GB of RAM.

The Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate is believed to be used for the MIX Fold 2's 6.56-inch outside display. The device is said to have an 8.02-inch foldable OLED Eco2 panel with 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display camera.
A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom will be found on its back. The details of the front camera are still a mystery.
The phone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging, 12GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. The smartphone will already be configured with Android 12 under the MIUI 13 theme. The MIX Fold 2 is 5.4 mm thick when fully unfolded. It will be 11.2mm in size when folded. The smartphone weighs approximately 262 grammes.
