A new entry-level smartphone is about to be released by Xiaomi in several markets. The forthcoming Xiaomi smartphone with the model number 220733SL has been spotted by well-known tipster Kacper Skrzypek.

The Redmi A1 device was also discovered on numerous databases, including IMEI, FCC, TUV Rheinland, and Geekbench 5, indicating its identity. It will carry the model number 220733SL in Europe, 220733SG globally, and 220733SI in India. The smartphone has also been discovered on BIS with the product number 220733SPI, which suggests that POCO would also sell it in India under a different name. Look at its specifications first.

According to the Geekbench results, the smartphone has a quad-core processor with a 2GHz clock speed for each of its four cores. The device's motherboard is known only as "ice." This suggests that the chipset in question is the dated MediaTek Helio A22.

According to the ad, the tablet sports an Android 12-based operating system and 3GB of RAM. The device achieves a single core score of 141 and a multi-core score of 497 in the Geekbench 5 benchmark.

The FCC listing provides additional details about the gadget, including its dimensions of 164.67mm in length and 76.56mm in width. Additionally, it has been reported that the device would offer Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi connectivity. The device's other details are currently a secret.
