With numerous new players entering the market, sales of electric scooters are on the rise. The NIU X Razer SQi Edition electric scooter has been introduced via a collaboration between Razer and NIU. The model is the result of the Razer-NIU partnership and features a distinctive and appealing design.
On August 2nd, China saw the launching of the NIU-Razer electric scooter. It is a 25 km/h smart e-scooter that is a limited edition. It has a range of 65km, weighs roughly 50kg, and is ideal for daily urban journeys. The e-scooter looks amazing and might be a compelling argument against using public transportation at all. Given the strength of the brands Razer and NIU, this partnership may benefit both companies. More specialised products are anticipated as the Razer-NIU cooperation continues to grow. The new e-specifications scooter's are still largely unknown.
Only China now has access to the e-scooter, but there is a tremendous desire for it. The new e-scooter sold out shortly after going on sale in China, claims Razer's CEO. There are currently no signs that the scooter's availability will expand outside of China.
The NIU X Razer SQi Edition retailed for 9,999 yuan ($1,482) in China, and its popularity there right once may have been a sign of its high quality. Since this is a limited-edition product, neither NIU nor Razer have given any indication that more scooters would be produced. There is currently no information about delivery as well.
