The Nothing Phone (1) received the Nothing OS 1.1.2 update earlier this month, which made some UI modifications and enhanced the device's charging efficiency. Users are already beginning to receive the Nothing OS 1.1.3 update, which brings with it promises of improved camera performance and a cleaner software environment.

The front camera's image clarity has been improved, and the update is only 64MB in size. Processing durations for HDR and Night Mode photos have also increased. The ultra-wide camera now boasts better colour saturation, and while zooming, the photographs will be significantly crisper and quieter. Periodically, the phone will remind you to clean the camera lenses.

The Google Adaptive Battery may now be enabled to “intelligently optimize battery life,” and the fingerprint verification UI for third-party apps has been updated. Other than that, the device has received multiple bug fixes which you can check out in the changelog below.

New features
● Added option to turn on Google’s Adaptive Battery to intelligently optimize battery life.
● Redesigned fingerprint verification UI for 3rd party apps.

Camera improvements
● When using Glyph lighting, images are automatically adjusted to optimal color and brightness.
● Improved photo clarity when using the front camera.
● Faster Night Mode and HDR photo processing time.
● Richer color saturation when using the ultra-wide camera.
● Reduced noise and increased sharpness when using zoom.
● Added reminder to clean the camera lenses.

● Resolved an issue that prevented the mobile hotspot from working properly.
● Fixed issue that caused the lock screen to crash after tapping on a notification and then trying to use finger unlock.
● Polished minor UI details.
● General bug fixes.

As usual, the update is being rolled out in stages, so users can expect the OTA notification in the coming days.
