The T-Rex 2, the newest tough sports watch from Amazfit, was introduced with a few cutting-edge features that may have drawn many fans of activities like mountain biking, trekking, or snowboarding. The second-generation rugged smartwatch from Zepp Health was billed as having a direct route import and display feature on its AMOLED screen. With the help of this function, users won't need to take out their smartphones in order to use Real-time Navigation to find and follow a route.

However, when the T-Rex 2 first began arriving, these new functionalities were not included in the firmware. The brand, which is growing in popularity in the wearables market, assured fans of the watch that the features would be made available as soon as possible via an OTA software update.

By making Zepp OS v9.22.7.2 available for the T-Rex 2, Amazfit has delivered on its promise. It not only offers Real-time Navigation and Route Import but also makes Training Templates for this watch available. One can import data using the Zepp app for smartphones, as well as through other services like Strava or nearby QR-code facilities.

Zepp offers a variety of pre-set templates that can be customised, allowing users to design their own interval workouts (or stage, potentially providing ample recuperation or warm-up time as required). The app on a specific T-Rex 2's connected phone should be able to be used immediately away to access the most recent update.
