The latest standard that provides excellent audio output, Bluetooth LE Audio, may be supported by the Google Pixel 7a. The Pixel 7 series, which is anticipated to contain the standard Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, has still not been introduced by Google. In fact, the business has integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) audio functionality into Android 13 so that customers can benefit from better synchronised music with less delay. A few weeks have passed since Google launched the Pixel 6a internationally, including in India.

According to a claim by 9to5google, the corporation is getting ready for two sets of cellphones based on comments made by Google employees on the code collaboration platform Gerrit. It is thought that "p22/p23a" refers to the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel 7a when it is mentioned in a comment. The p22 could be a reference to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones, which will debut in the fall of 2022. The 2023 A-series smartphone, rumoured to be the Pixel 7a, could be the subject of the p23a. According to the code, Bluetooth LE Audio will be supported by all three phones.

According to the source, the fact that the Pixel 7 series and the Pixel 7a are named together may indicate that the second-generation Google Tensor chip includes the better Bluetooth LE Audio compatibility. The first-generation Google Tensor chip powers the smartphones of the current generation, including the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a. Although Google has included support for Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) audio to Android 13, which has already been rolled out to the Pixel 6 series and Pixel 6a, they may or may not provide the same high-quality audio experience as the Pixel 7 series.

It should be noted that both the input device and the earphones or headphones must support Bluetooth LE Audio. The most recent audio standard isn't currently supported by many devices. Being among the first smartphones to enable Bluetooth LE Audio is quite a feat for the Google Pixel 7. Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and stated that a firmware update later this year will add Bluetooth LE Audio functionality for the TWS headphones.

The newest Bluetooth wireless protocol, Bluetooth LE Audio, adds a number of new features for wireless audio transmission. The new specification delivers improved overall audio performance over a Bluetooth connection among a plethora of other benefits. Compared to Classic Bluetooth, there is less lag and greater audio quality transmission for better listening. The specification's Low Complexity Communications Codec (LC3) offers high-quality audio with little power usage.
