Google recently unveiled a new Camouflage tool with its Pixel 6a smartphone, which also uses the same Tensor processor, after unveiling the Magic Eraser tool with the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The new tool was supposed to be added to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro versions as soon as the Pixel 6a went on sale (28 July), but that did not materialise as stated in a previous report. Instead, today marked the start of the new feature's roll out.

The Camouflage option has reportedly begun to surface globally on Google's Pixel 644,000 and 6 Pro smartphones, according to 9to5Google. The same has also been independently confirmed by Gadgets 360. Users of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro 68,000 smartphones won't need to upgrade the Photos app because, according to the source, the update is server-side.

Although the results weren't always ideal, the Magic Eraser tool can be used to eliminate undesired elements from an image and fill the space. The Camouflage tool has a more understated strategy. When the unwanted object is selected in the Photos app, the tool will desaturate its colour to make it blend in with the background and stand out less, preserving your image's quality. subject or object in focus with lesser visually distracting elements around it.

The Camouflage option in the Photos app first appeared on the Google Pixel 6a. The phone is the first to use a flagship-grade Tensor processor, which was created by Google, in contrast to previous mid-range and low-cost Google smartphones with the "a" moniker.

A 12-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera are included in the phone's dual camera configuration. The 6.1-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) OLED display on the Pixel 6a maintains the industry-standard 60Hz refresh rate. Fast charging is supported with the 4410mAh battery, however Google didn't provide a charger in the box.
