Realme announced last week that the 9i will go on sale in India on August 18 and has since begun teasing the Realme Watch 3 Pro. Does that imply that the watch will also be arriving on the 18th? Perhaps all the official website says is "coming soon."

The watch's front and side views in the teasers confirm that it will maintain its rectangular shape. The transition to an AMOLED display from the Watch 2 Pro from a year ago is one significant shift.

Specifically, a big AMOLED display, although it is unclear how sizable. The Realme Watch 3 boasts a slightly larger 1.8" IPS LCD than the 2 Pro's 1.75" IPS LCD. That is already very big, but some watches can go even bigger (the Oppo Watch 2 has a 1.91" display, for example).

The Pro model will allow Bluetooth calling, just as the Watch 3. And like the last Pro, it will include an integrated GPS receiver. The default model uses the location information from your phone (if you want to know more, check out our Realme Watch 3review).

When it first debuted in India last year, the Realme Watch 2 Pro priced $5,000 as opposed to $3,500 for the standard Watch 2. There is a potential that the Realme Watch 3 Pro will have the same price as its predecessor. It can also cost more because of the new AMOLED display.
